Who we are

IT Drone and Software Services Ltd ("we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16322425, VAT GB490622881, registered office 78A Wolverton Road, Bournemouth BH7 6HX, United Kingdom. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration ZB966161 and act as the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

What data we collect and why

• Contact form. When you submit an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, and your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a client, to deliver our services. Form submissions are delivered to us by email via Formsubmit (formsubmit.co), which processes the data for transmission only.
• Direct contact. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we hold the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your matter.
• Analytics (optional). With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to understand how the website is used in aggregate. No analytics cookies are set unless you click "Accept" in the cookie banner.
• Live streaming. Private event streams (for example funeral broadcasts) are delivered from our own UK media server. We do not track individual viewers of a stream through this website.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to your request) and, where a contract follows, contractual necessity. Analytics data is processed only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies and similar local storage:

• Essential. Strictly necessary for the site to function — including the item that remembers your cookie choice (itd-consent). These cannot be refused without impacting how the website functions; you can block or delete them in your browser settings.
• Analytics (off by default). Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that collect information used in aggregate form to understand how the website is used. These are only set after you click "Accept".

Sharing and transfers

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run this website (form delivery, analytics where consented, and our UK-based hosting), each acting under their own data processing terms. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after the matter is closed, unless a contract or legal obligation requires longer. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard 14-month setting.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to, and port your personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, email info@itdroneservices.co.uk.

Drone operations and filming

Our aerial work is conducted under CAA authorisation with privacy-by-design operating procedures. Where commissioned work may capture identifiable individuals, we follow the ICO's guidance for drone operators and our own data protection procedures; footage is handled as personal data where applicable.
